Sunday 7th - Saxon Family Workshop

Hands on fun with object handling and crafts. Drop in to the Museum to see the finds from the recent excavation at Barrow Clump. Handle replica Saxon artefacts, take part in Saxon theme art and craft activities, plus ... try weaving, make a Saxon plate brooch and decorate a shield. Noon to 4pm Booking not necessary - just come along when you can. Entry to Museum free for everyone. £2 charge per child for taking part in craft activities.
